Opera Night performs in Oyster Bay

As we continue hosting concerts in Northport every first Friday of the month, we also plan additional concerts throughout Long Island. Opera Night has already performed at libraries, cultural centers, malls, and private concerts to the acclaim of all.

We really started something. Word of Opera Night has travelled far and wide. Our newest projects involve an Opera Night series in the Village of Oyster Bay, Long Island. We have met with members of Christ Church of Oyster Bay about bringing Opera into their community.

Our first performance will be on March 25th, Friday at 7:30. Christ Church of Oyster Bay has a great 302 year history. In fact, President Teddy Roosevelt was once a member of Its congregation.

We welcome all of you to help spread the word, to join our e-mail list for updated information, and to attend our concerts.

Memos from Maddalena:
Music is to be shared during holiday time. From the magnificent Handel's Messiah to carolers who ring our doorbells to rejoice in the season. What can be more heartwarming than to sip eggnog, feast on panetone and listen to Pavarotti's interpretation of "O Holy Night"?. Maybe Elvis' rendition of Blue Blue Christmas, or Brenda Lee swaying you to "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" is you cup of tea. However you take your coffee or celebrate with your family, make music a part of it. All I know is that Isabella and I will with gusto and ferver! Enjoy, and as we say in our home "Buone Natale!"
